El subteniente del Cuerpo de Bomberos, Adalberto Romero informó que, tras atender un llamado del alcalde de Macuelizo, Orlando Moreno, se trasladaron a supervisar cuatro aldeas de este municipio.
Manifestó que en zona existe una supuesta falla geológica que ha perjudicado cuatro aldeas que ha partido por mitad las casas y hay grietas en el suelo de hasta tres metros.
El informe detalla que se reportan 27 viviendas afectadas y dos aldeas evacuadas con alrededor de 800 personas residentes de la aldea La Virtud y Las Flores en el municipio de Macuelizo. Las comunidades más afectadas son: San José de La Cumbre, La Virtud, y El Pital.
También hay un hundimiento en la carreta que en cualquier momento podría dejar incomunicado ese sector, el alcalde de Macuelizo Orlando Moreno informó que las personas evacuadas fueron albergadas en otras aldeas de la zona para salvaguardar sus vidas.
El edil solicitó que un grupo de geólogos llegue a ese lugar para que inspeccione la zona con urgencia y conocer de expertos la realidad de las aldeas y que se pueda investigar si estas son habitables.
Manifestó que la población está en zozobra ya que no saben si podrán regresar a sus viviendas y hasta el momento se está levantando un recuento de daños para cuantificar los mismos y poder informar al gobierno central. Redacción Alex Sabillón.
