Ayer lunes a las 17:30 en la costa este del país 22:30 GMT, los compromisarios de California, reunidos en la asamblea estatal, confirmaron que los 55 votos electorales de ese estado iban a parar a Biden, el candidato demócrata en las pasadas elecciones.

Esos delegados permitieron a Biden superar la barrera de 270 votos electorales necesarios para llegar a la Casa Blanca, horas después de que comenzaran las votaciones de ese órgano en cada estado.
