Buscar el sueño americano lo hizo perder sus dos piernas, pero esto no ha sido una limitante para trabajar y salir adelante y poder darle alimentación, educación y un techo a su familia.

Rafael Enamorado vecino de Ceibita Sur Santa Bárbara es un verdadero ejemplo de superación y perseverancia en su trabajo desde muy temprano lo podemos ver podando árboles en el parque central de esta ciudad, trabajo que desempeña desde hace cinco años.

Según su opinión las limitaciones físicas no han sido una limitante para poder trabajar y sacar adelante su familia, y además motiva a personas que viven con discapacidades especiales a buscar un empleo, dijo no ser fácil conseguirlo por la discriminación que se viven en honduras las personas discapacitadas.

Lamento mucho el poco apoyo del gobierno central a las personas con discapacidades especiales, además aprovecho para denunciar los atropellos que reciben del transporte público ya que no los consideran y no reciben descuentos por el uso de este servicio.

Rafael Enamorado salió en el año 2006 de Ceibita Santa Barbara con muchas ilusiones en busca de una mejor vida a los estados unidos y así poder ayudar a su familia a tener mejores condiciones. Sin imaginar que en el camino perdería sus dos piernas a consecuencia de un choque del tren que viajaba de Jalón.

La verdad que fue algo muy doloroso para mi verme sin mis dos piernas y regresar al país sin nada a empezar de nuevo nos comentó. Pero su voluntad de salir adelante lo hizo superar la tragedia sufrida y así empezó a trabajar para lograr mejorar las condiciones de vida de su familia.

Con la ayuda de algunos amigos logro conseguir dos prótesis y así empezar a caminar apoyado con muletas y empezó a salir a barrios y colonias de la ciudad en busca de trabajo podando árboles y dando mantenimiento a jardines fue así como fue contratado por la municipalidad de Santa Barbara para darle mantenimiento al parque central de esta ciudad.

 Hago un llamado a todas las personas que vivimos con discapacidades especiales en el departamento para que nos organicemos y logremos cosas importantes para muchos compañeros que viven en completo abandono concluyo diciendo.
