Santa Bárbara Honduras… Llegar a lugares que otros medios no llegan, dar oportunidad a los que no tiene voz y dar cobertura a temas olvidados del país es el sueño de joven comunicadora social que ejerce el periodismo de una forma diferente a través de la televisión y redes sociales.
Un grupo de jóvenes de Santa Bárbara se han empoderado en medios de comunicación televisivos y radiales, con programación variada, desde programas noticiosos, recreativos, educativos y sociales, los cuales se transmiten por la noche o los fines de semana ya que son jóvenes estudiantes de secundaria o educación superior.
Estos jóvenes se juntan en parejas o grupos de cinco o más para la conducción del programa, todos trabajan como reporteros, camarógrafos, editores, presentadores, vendedores de publicidad, esto para pagar los espacios de televisión o radio.
Consultados varios de ellos manifestaron que lo hacen porque les gusta la comunicación y además para abrirse espacios en la sociedad Santabarbarense, y poder demostrar que los jóvenes son tan útiles como los adultos y servir de ejemplo e inspiración a otros jóvenes de la ciudad.
Estos jóvenes son apoyados por sus padres y dueños de medios de comunicación y sus programas tienen mucha aceptación entre la población de Santa Bárbara, sin duda alguna los más gustados son aquellos programas de noticias, educativos y culturales.
Una de las jóvenes comunicadoras que más destaca es Gema Pineda por su carisma y dedicación, esta joven ha logrado aprender mucho a través de las capacitaciones que ha recibido desde hace varios años, la cual pone en práctica a la hora de ejercer el periodismo.
Sin querer demeritar a otros jóvenes que hacen labor de comunicadores sociales en la ciudad, esta joven hace diferencia por su facilidad de palabra su pasión por el periodismo y su dedicación hacer y editar la noticia, además su entusiasmo y amor por el periodismo motiva a sus compañeros de programa.
Jamás imagine trabajar en la televisión fueron las primeras palabras de Gema Pineda a los Chuñas una joven con muchos sueños que según ella incursiono en el periodismo de una manera accidental pero que lo hace con mucho amor y dedicación, un día recibió una llamada de un amigo que me pregunto si me gustaría participar en un proyecto de un programa de televisión, fue así como se dio mi participación en la televisión nos narró.
Gema Guadalupe Pineda Muñoz nació en Santa Bárbara y cuenta con 17 años de edad, a pesar de su corta edad ya es parte de varios grupos de desarrollo de la ciudad. Labora como presentadora y reportera de televisión. Espera aprender mucho siendo parte de la comunicación en Santa Bárbara, ya que según ella las capacitaciones son las que le han ayudado a desenvolverse en la televisión.
Muy temprano se levanta para ayudar a sus padres en el hogar luego por la tarde en su tiempo libre va en busca de la noticia y eventos para darles cobertura y preparar el material para el día sábado que es cuando se transmite el programa en un horario de 3:00pm a 6:00pm,
Dice ver la noticia de una manera diferente trata de buscarle lo positivo a la noticia dice hacerlo de esa manera porque hoy en día algunos medios se han vuelto amarillistas y generados de odio y es por eso que enfoca los temas con mucho profesionalismo, además de llegar a lugares remotos en busca de la noticia.
Lo que más disfruta es el cariño que la gente le manifiesta en la calle, barrios y colonias y la reconocen por el trabajo que realiza en la televisión, además se siente feliz porque hoy en día la sociedad piensa que los jóvenes son una carga y generadores de problemas, pero ella está demostrando que se puede ser útil a la sociedad, por ejercer el periodismo no recibe ningún beneficio económico, pero para ella ser útil y ayudar es su mayor satisfacción.
Ser comunicadora social le ha permitido conocer muchos lugares, estar en varios eventos, tratar a personas de diferente estatus social, así como desarrollar varias destrezas y habilidades que le sirven en el diario vivir, y le ha permitido superar algunos complejos como el temor a estar frente a una cámara, hablar en público y hacer entrevistas que era algo que lo miraba tan difícil.
Unos de sus proyectos a corto plazo es buscar una oportunidad en un programa de noticias generales ya que tiene un sueño por cumplir, ser la voz de aquellos que no tienen voz ya que según su opinión hoy día el periodista le hace falta enfocar temas de país como la pobreza, el hambre, la desnutrición en los niños y falta de logística de las escuelas en zonas alejadas, por lo que le gustaría ser ella la que les diera cobertura a esos temas. Además, que hay muchas personas que no expresan su pensar porque nadie les da la oportunidad de hacerlo a través de un medio de comunicación.
Siente que algunos medios de comunicación no cumplen con la labor real de informar, ya que según ella hoy en día hay mucha manipulación de la noticia y otros medios que representan intereses políticos de los grupos de poder del país, de esta situación no culpa a los periodistas ellos solo son empleados y cumplen con que les piden en este caso los dueños de los medios, además lamento que ya casi no quedan medios alternativos en Honduras y que hoy en día se han vuelto mercantilistas.
La comunicadora social es de las que cree que los periodistas pueden aportar mucho al país. pero que lastimosamente muchos comunicadores en Honduras no tienen opinión propia y no aportan sino al contrario están al servicio exclusivo de algunos sectores de la sociedad hondureña, por lo tanto, es necesaria la apertura de medios alternativos, y la utilización de redes sociales como medio para informar.
A futuro dice verse como una periodista exitosa, aunque reconoce que siente tener algunas limitaciones, dice no ser buena para escribir y lo de redactar seguro será uno de sus debilidades a la hora de estudiar periodismo, es por eso que prefiere la televisión ya que siente que tiene mucha facilidad de expresión y disfruta hacerlo.
Espera para los próximos meses lleguen muchas capacitaciones a la ciudad para los periodistas y así aprender mucho más y poner en práctica los conocimientos que obtenga en estas capacitaciones y hacer mejor su trabajo periodístico.
Concluyó diciendo que espera que con el pasar del tiempo medios de comunicación y periodistas tengan incidencia en los cambios que tanto necesita el país y ya no sean más voceros de los gobiernos de turno, y como jóvenes también que sean parte de estos cambios que tanto necesita Honduras.
