Mediante denuncias en redes sociales y en los medios de comunicación de la ciudad de Santa Bárbara, habitantes de la aldea de Ceibita Sur denunciaron la tala desmedida del bosque. A vista y paciencia de las autoridades, por lo que hacen un llamado a la fiscalía del medio ambiente actúe contra estas personas.
Según estos vecinos las personas que cortan el bosque ya están identificadas y denunciadas, pero aun no se hace nada por parte de las autoridades, los arboles que cortan son de pino, los cuales son utilizados para vigas de casas y son vendidas a personas de las comunidades cercanas.
Un vecino que pidió omitir su nombre manifestó que han descombrado de bosque un aproximado de 10 hectáreas de bosque de pino, dijo que de continuar así en poco tiempo van a terminar con lo poco que aún queda de bosques. Redacción Alex Sabillón.
