Honduras. www.loschuñas.com  La Comisión Permanente de Contingencias COPECO, informó la noche del pasado jueves  sobre un sismo que ocurrió en  isla de Amapala, en el golfo  de Fonseca zona Sur de Honduras.

El movimiento sísmico fue de 5.2 en la escala de Ritcher a 80 kilómetros al sur de Amapala y con una profundidad de 68 kilómetros, informaron los expertos de COPECO.

El sismo fue provocado por la subducción de la placa de Cocos con la placa de Caribe en la zona sur hondureña.

También se informó que  el movimiento telúrico   se sintió en zonas cercanas  del país vecino de El Salvador como Chirilagua, lugar donde se sintió la mayor magnitud. ARSS
