El Sistema Nacional De Gestión De Riesgo SINAGER, informo la noche del viernes 2 de octubre que se reportaron 2 casos más de coronavirus para el departamento de Santa Bárbara, para hacer un total de 2,534 personas infectadas, desde el inicio de la pandemia en Honduras.
Los 2 nuevos pacientes infectado con el virus son vecinos del municipio de: Las Vegas 1 y Concepción Sur 1, cabe mencionar que la mayoría de estos casos son atendidos en sus casas de habitación por personal de la región de salud que dirige el doctor Benjamín López.
También se informa que este día se recuperaron 55 pacientes, por lo que el número de personas recuperadas asciende a 1,452, además se reporta una persona muerta por lo que el total de fallecidos son 83, hasta esa fecha, las brigadas médicas visitan todo el departamento realizando pruebas PCR para identificar a personas contagiadas con el Covid-19.
