Santa Bárbara Honduras. www.loschuañas.com. Preocupación por parte de vecinos del municipio de Ilama, ante posibles incrementos de casos de Coronavirus en este sector, los cuales según la población no se han diagnosticados por falta de pruebas PCR y por la indisciplina de sus habitantes.
Tras la muerte por sospecha de Covid-19 de un reconocido hijo del municipio de Ilama Santa Bárbara, como lo es Edgardo Hernández, se encendieron las alarmas y aumento la preocupación entre los pobladores de este pintoresco lugar, que según ellos el virus camina y convive desde hace mucho tiempo entre la población.
Edgardo Hernández era un ilameño muy querido por su don de servicio, además por su proyección social, participación en eventos culturales y otros, la supuesta víctima de coronavirus murió la tarde del pasado miércoles mientras era conducido en una ambulancia hacia el hospital, Leonardo Martines de San Pedro Sula, donde la llegar se dio a conocer que había fallecido.
Varios vecinos que no se identificaron, manifestaron a este medio de comunicación mediante llamada telefónica y mensajes, que la situación que viven habitantes de este municipio es preocupante, pues según ellos el virus transita en la calle del pueblo.
Un ciudadano dijo. Acá en Ilama hemos sido irresponsable con la situación de esta enfermedad, acá nadie toma medidas de bioseguridad, no usamos mascarillas, gel o distanciamiento, las cantinas permanecen abiertas día y noche a vista y paciencia de las autoridades municipales, de salud y de la misma Policía Nacional.
Las pulperías y otros negocios de igual manera no toman las medidas de bioseguridad, se puede ver los grupos de personas comprando en ellas, nadie con mascarilla y si se les recuerdan las medidas se molestan, entonces como no vamos estar infectados, si nadie quiero hacer casos a las medidas de prevención, se murió un buen ilameño por supuesto Covid-19, seguro unos días vamos usar mascarilla, pero al olvidarse volvemos a lo mismo.
Son pocos de bolos en las calles, en grupos de hasta cinco personas, se han jugado partidos de futbol femenino en la cancha del municipio. En la aldea pasa lo mismo, seguro igual que en el casco urbano hay muchos casos circulando sin diagnosticarse, pero caminan y viven como si nada pasa. Concluyo diciendo el ciudadano.
Otro habitante de Ilama narro que los contagios llegaron por parte de algunos compradores de pimienta, quienes supuestamente contagiaron a una familia, lo cual hizo que se propagara por todo el casco urbano, aldeas y caseríos el virus, pero lo peor de todo es la inconciencia de la población que no hacen casos en poner en practica las medidas de bioseguridad.
Va escuchar a diario personas que presentan síntomas del virus, como fiebres y tos, pero nadie se aísla, ni buscan atención médica, caminan en las calles como si nada pasara, espero no tengamos que lamentar mas muertes, pero es urgente que hagamos conciencia a nuestra población que debemos cuidarnos.
Otra situación que nos perjudico es tener la cárcel cerca, allí salieron los primeros casos, aun así, no le dimos importancia, mire acá venia esa gente a comprar a las pulperías y sabiendo que había casos en el pozo, creo que las autoridades municipales y de salud se han quedado corta ante esta situación, el uso de mascarilla es obligatorio pues que la policía hago su trabajo y aplique la ley quien no la use, finalizo diciendo otro vecino de Ilama.
Hasta la fecha el municipio de Ilama a reportado 47 casos positivos, todos en la cárcel del pozo, de los cuales 5 se han recuperado, 2 han muerto y 40 permanecen activos, habitantes del municipio hacen un llamado a las autoridades de Salud para que realicen pruebas y se pueda controlar el virus si es que lo hay.
