La Sección Antidrogas de la Fiscalía Especial Contra el Crimen Organizado (FESCCO) obtuvo auto de formal procesamiento en contra de Rodrigo Fernández Estevez, César Alfredo Mejía Mayen, Eilmer Omer Mejía Mayen y Marco Tulio González Hernández por suponerlos responsables de tráfico de drogas agravado y tenencia ilegal de armas prohibidas.
A los imputados se les incautaron 93 fardos de cocaína el pasado fin de semana en la Finca El Diamante, municipio de El Porvenir, Atlántida, y tras su traslado hacia Tegucigalpa, a la hora del registro, el Ministerio Público y la Policía Nacional contabilizaron dos mil 331 kilogramos del estupefaciente.
La acción fue ejecutada por funcionarios de la Unidad de Investigaciones Especiales de la Dirección Nacional Policial Antidrogas (DNPA), Comando de Operaciones Especiales (COE) de la Dirección Nacional de Fuerzas Especiales, Grupo de Operaciones Especiales Tácticos (GOET) de la Dirección Nacional de Servicios Policiales Fronterizos (DNSPF), en coordinación con la FESCCO.
Según el reporte policial, en una comunidad del departamento de Atlántida, mediante un exhaustivo trabajo de investigación y ubicación, se logró la incautación de los 93 fardos conteniendo supuesto clorhidrato de cocaína, así como tres armas de fuego tipo fusiles AR-15, una pistola calibre nueve milímetros, municiones de diferentes calibres, nueve paquetes conteniendo en su interior supuesta marihuana y 21 vehículos.
El juez con jurisdicción nacional impuso en contra de Rodrigo Fernández Estevez, César Alfredo Mejía Mayen, Eilmer Omer Mejía Mayen y Marco Tulio González Hernández la medida cautelar la prisión preventiva. Tomado de la Fuente del Ministerio Publico.
