El expresidente Manuel Zelaya Rosales, fue detenido la tarde de este viernes por tener en su poder $18 mil, el cual, al momento de ser interrogado, aseguro que los $18 mil que le encontraron en su mochila de viaje no son de su propiedad y que alguien con mala intención se los colocó en el Aeropuerto Internacional Toncontín de la capital de Honduras.

Zelaya dijo. Hice todo el chequeo y declaración, lamentablemente, cuando me piden que abra mi mochila, había una bolsa toda vieja y arrugada con los $18 mil y me preguntaron que si era mía la mochila pues yo dije que sí, pero esos dólares no son míos.  Es ridículo a quien se le ocurre llevar esa cantidad y pasar por aduanas, es totalmente ridículo, expresó.

Yo iba a viajar con varias personas a un seminario en México, pero ellos ya están en ese país desde hace dos días, porque yo no pude viajar y hasta hoy que puedo viajar me dirigía a Houston, Estados Unidos, para luego salir a la ciudad de México, manifestó el ex mandatario.

Varios grupos de simpatizantes del Partido Libertad y Refundación LIBRE, se movilizaron esta tarde del viernes, hacia el Aeropuerto Internacional Toncontín tras la retención de Manuel Zelaya. Las movilizaciones se extendieron en las afueras del aeropuerto y en otros sectores de la capital como en la colonia Miraflores, col. 21 de febrero y Los Laureles, entre otras.

Los manifestantes exigen a las autoridades dejen viajar de inmediato a Zelaya y lamentaron que a otros políticos de cuello blanco, que a pesar de tener pruebas de corrupción en su contra no les hacen nada. los seguidores de LIBRE están quemando llantas y bloquearon algunas vías de acceso como medida de presión.

Un fuerte contingente policial y militar resguardan las instalaciones del aeropuerto y tratar de mantener el orden público. Zelaya fue retenido en el aeropuerto Toncontín por personal de seguridad aduanero, luego de encontrarle en su mochila la cantidad de $18 mil.  Redacción Alex Sabillón.
