El centro de triaje de Santa Bárbara empezará a funcionar a partir de la próxima semana

Santa Bárbara Honduras.  www.loschuñas.com. Las autoridades de la municipalidad de Santa Bárbara junto a COPECO, acondicionan sala del colegio de abogados de esta ciudad para ser utilizado como centro de triaje, el cual servirá para atender pacientes contagiados y sospechoso de coronavirus.

 José Luis Pineda coordinador de COPECO en el departamento de santa Bárbara, manifestó en entrevista a un medio de comunicación nacional que para la próxima semana estará listo el centro de triaje de esta ciudad para atender a la población santabarbarense contagiado de COVID-19.

La sala contará con consultas, espacio de espera, camillas, oxígeno, pruebas y medicamentos, se está a espera de la contratación de personal médico y enfermeras, para poder dar inicio el próximo lunes, esta sala que ayudará a descongestionar el Hospital Santa Bárbara Integrado de la ciudad.

Según el doctor Benjamín López director de la región de salud, este centro de triaje será para la atención de los pobladores de Santa Bárbara, de igual manera motiva a las autoridades de otros municipios a construir sus propios centros de triaje para poder atender a la población de su comunidad y así hacer más fácil el control de la pandemia en el departamento.

López manifestó que el gobierno central destinó 35 millones de Lempiras para los 28 municipios del departamento de Santa Bárbara, el cual será invertido en contratación de recurso humano, equipo de bioseguridad e insumos. Los fondos son manejados por los alcaldes municipales.

Además de la cabecera departamental, los municipios que cuentan con centros de triaje son: Azacualpa, Las Vegas, Macuelizo, Trinidad y Quimistan, los cuales están atendiendo a la población de estos sectores desde hace un aproximado de 20 días.

En el centro de triaje de la ciudad de Santa Bárbara se pretende atender entre 100 y 150 personas diarias, en el laboraran de forma permanente 2 médicos varias enfermeras, además se informó que la secretaría de salud se comprometió a abastecer de medicamentos a este centro para que pueda contar con todo lo necesario para atender a los pacientes.
