Las diferentes juntas de agua de la ciudad de Santa Bárbara se verán en la necesidad de establecer horarios de racionamientos del servicio de agua potable a sus barrios y colonias para los próximos días, debido que las fuentes de agua sigan bajando su caudal.
Una de estas juntas que tomara esta medida es la del barrio galeras, quienes desde ya están tomando medidas para evitar mayores problemas de escasez de agua en los meses mas fuertes del verano como ser marzo, abril y mayo.
Según Melvin Madrid a administrador de la junta de agua se hacen esfuerzos para dar el mejor servicio a las tres colonias que se les brinda el vital líquido, mejorando la tubería de conducto del sistema de agua, además de concientizar a la población del mejor uso del líquido.
Madrid manifestó que actualmente se da el servicio cada 24 horas con una duración de 6 horas por sector, pero para los próximos días los horarios de racionamiento podrían cambiar y el servicio se estaría dando dos o una vez por semana.
También hizo un llamado a todos los usuarios del servicio de agua de los tres barrios que den mantenimiento a la red de tubería dentro de sus viviendas además de reparar aquellas llaves y sanitarios que presenten fugas de agua y así están contribuyendo con el ahorro de este liquido tan importante para la sociedad.
Melvin Madrid también hizo un llamado a las personas morosas acercarse a la oficina a cancelar sus deudas o hacer un arreglo de pago, ya que la junta de agua necesita hacer alguna inversión para mejor el servicio de agua en barrio Galeras, el Mirador y Altos de Galera, actualmente existen mas de 200 personas que le adeudan por el servicio a la junta de agua.
