Según autoridades de Salud honduras recibirá mas de 9 millones de vacunas

Honduras. www.loschuñas.com. Honduras contará con 9.4 millones de dosis de vacuna contra la COVID-19, destinada para el 81%de la población que es elegible para recibirla, aseguró la directora del Programa Ampliado de Inmunizaciones de la Secretaría de Salud, Ida Berenice Molina.

La funcionaria expuso que el plan está detallado, definido en los objetivos, población meta, grupos priorizados y las intervenciones en organización, almacenamiento y distribución de la vacuna, así como el registro de los vacunados.

Molina afirmó que “el país tiene garantizado el acceso a la vacuna para el 20 por ciento de la población como una donación por la iniciativa Covax, y una compra a través de fondos rotatorios para otro 20 por ciento, lo que representa más de 8 millones de dosis de vacunas, más 1.4 millones de vacunas del Instituto Hondureño de Seguridad Social IHSS.
