Los precios de la canasta básica se mantendrán congelados hasta el 27 mayo

Honduras. La Secretaría de Desarrollo Económico, informó la tarde del pasado sábado que varios productos de la canasta básica seguirán congelados hasta el próximo 27 de mayo, esto para garantizar que los acaparadores y sueños de negocios no se aprovechen de la situación.

En estos momentos de emergencia por la pandemia de COVID, el gobierno Juan Orlando Hernández Alvarado determinó congelar al menos 30 productos de la canasta básica. El incumplimiento de dichas disposiciones será sancionado de acuerdo con lo que establece la Ley de Protección a los Consumidores, por lo que se harán visitas a los lugares donde se venden productos de la canasta básica para verificar precios.

Se recordó que el acaparamiento de los productos de la canasta básica alimentaria es un delito penal y se hará las denuncias ante las autoridades competentes, para aquellos que cometan tal falta, las denuncias serán interpuestas ante la fiscalía del consumidor.

Los consumidores en caso de que sean víctimas del abuso a la hora de comprar estos productos pueden interponer sus denuncias ante la Dirección General de Protección al Consumidor DGPC; a través de la línea 115   y al correo electrónico denunciasdeconsumidores@gmail.com.
