FETCCOP Y ATIC investigan en municipalidad de San Pedro Sula existencia de planilla fantasma

San Pedro Sula, Cortés. La Fiscalía Especial para la Transparencia y Combate a la Corrupción Pública (FTECCOP) y La Agencia Técnica de Investigación Criminal (ATIC) desarrollan nuevas líneas de investigación en la municipalidad de San Pedro Sula, específicamente vinculadas al periodo de la administración del exalcalde Armando Calidonio.

Las diligencias investigativas son producto de una denuncia presentada en la FETCCOP, sobre la existencia de una planilla “fantasma” que funcionaba a lo interno de la municipalidad, en dicha planilla supuestamente figuran unas 100 personas que prestaban funciones como asesores, miembros del servicio de seguridad entre otras tareas.

Además, la subcontratación de empresas que supuestamente brindaban servicios dentro de la municipalidad, por ello se realizan inspecciones en el Departamento de Recursos Humanos, Secretaría, Tecnología, Contabilidad y Tesorería.

La planilla “fantasma” supuestamente existía desde el año 2014 hasta el 2020, por ello se investigan posibles delitos de tráfico de influencia, malversación de caudales públicos y violación de los deberes de los funcionarios.

La investigación está encaminada al decomiso de documentos para corroborar sobre la existencia de la supuesta planilla, verificar la función de cada uno de estos cien empleados de quiénes se trata, funciones asignadas, en qué departamento u oficina estaban asignados y desde luego conocer cuánto era el pago mensual y el impacto en las arcas municipales.

El equipo asignado a la investigación también hace posible la toma de declaraciones y la entrega de citatorios a personal municipal para la comparecencia a las oficinas de la FETCCOP y la ATIC lo cual permite ampliar las diligencias investigativas y comprobar la denuncia.

La FETCCOP y la ATIC también tienen en ruta una serie de investigaciones a lo interno de la municipalidad de San Pedro Sula, esto por posibles delitos de abuso de autoridad, violación de los deberes de los funcionarios, malversación de caudales públicos entre otros ilícitos penales.
