Tegucigalpa, Francisco Morazán. La Sección Antidrogas de la Fiscalía Especial Contra el Crimen Organizado (FESCCO) logró el auto de formal procesamiento y prisión preventiva por el delito de tráfico de drogas y tenencia ilegal de armas de uso permitido en la causa penal de dos hondureños y un colombiano que transportaban 107 kilos de cocaína en una lancha denominada “Guardián”.
Los procesados por un juez con jurisdicción nacional son los hondureños Elmer Dicey López Mendoza y Evelio Antúnez Flores, así como el colombiano Francisco Javier Polo Castro, los tres permanecerán recluidos en el centro penal de Siria en El Porvenir, Francisco Morazán.
La captura e incautación se logró el pasado miércoles 6 de abril gracias a información proporcionada por la Agencia Técnica de Investigación Criminal (ATIC) a la Fuerza Naval de Honduras, quienes requirieron a los tres tripulantes del bote en las cercanías de Brus Laguna, Gracias a Dios.
En la operación antidrogas agentes del Departamento Contra el Crimen Organizado y de técnicos en Procesamiento de la Escena del Crimen de la ATIC inspeccionaron la pequeña embarcación en la base naval de Caratasca y encontraron los cinco fardos de la droga, un revólver, una escopeta, 12 cartuchos calibre 12, 18 proyectiles calibre 38, dos GPS y un teléfono satelital.
