Los representantes de la ONU escucharon con atencion las denuncias de violacion de Derechos Humanos

Santa Bárbara, Honduras. www.loschuñas.com. La mañana de este martes El Movimiento Ambientalista Santabarbarense MÁS,   realizó un conversatorio, con la presencia de representantes de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas ONU, además de los integrantes de dicho movimiento ambientalista.

La actividad inicio con la lectura de un comunicado por parte del MAS, en el cual se dio  a conocer la situación que vive la población hondureña, después de los fenómenos naturales y los efectos de la actual pandemia, así como el abandono de las actuales autoridades del gobierno central y otros.

También en el escrito se denunció el abandono  de la educación, los cierres de centros de salud  de las áreas rurales y el poco apoyo que reciben los que están ubicados en las zonas  urbano, los cuales no cuentan con personas y los medicamentos necesario para atender a los ciudadanos que llegan en busca de atención médica.   

Los miembros del MÁS también dieron a conocer la difícil situación que viven los defensores de Derechos Humanos y ambientalista del departamento de Santa Bárbara, así como los  campesinos y mujeres organizados.

Los militantes del MAS expusieron ante los representaes de la ONU sus temores por ser defensores de Derechos Humanos

Por la ONU estuvieron presente Ana Ortega  y Luis Aguilar, ambos  oficiales de la  Oficina del Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas ONU,  para   Los Derechos Humanos, en Honduras, quienes manifestaron su preocupación ante el alto índice de violaciones de Derechos Humanos en el departamento de Santa Bárbara.  

Luis Aguilar manifestó que los temas en violación de Derechos Humanos que más se pueden dar en las zonas   son: Violación a  los derechos laborales, desplazamientos forzados por la instalación de las ZEDEs y construcción de hidroeléctricas, ocupación de la tierra y judicialización de los defensores de Derechos Humanos  y ambientalista.

Los participantes expusieron ante los oficiales de la ONU los casos que más les afecta y preocupa, entre los que resaltaron, como la consecuencia que puedan sufrir los vecinos de Chinda Santa Bárbara, que están  en contra la construcción de la represa hidroeléctrica el tornillito, los cuales manifestaron tener miedo.  

Otra vecina de Chinda manifestó que también en la comunidad el centro de salud no cuenta con médicos y medicamentos, por lo que tienen que desplazarse hasta la ciudad de Trinidad para buscar atención médica.

Una afiliada del MAS  denuncio que el bono diez mil se está entregando de una forma política, donde la alcaldesa del municipio de Chinda beneficia a sus parientes y también familiares de los empleados municipales, además que muchas mujeres son excluido  de los programas del gobierno, por solo el hecho de ser defensores de derechos humanos.

Otro ciudadano denuncio que en los centros de salud y en los pocos hospitales de región no cuentan con los medicamentos y trabajadores de la salud como médicos, enfermeras y epidemiólogos, entre otros.

Luis Aguilar oficial de Derechos Humanos de la ONU, manifestó que es importante detallar las formas de violaciones a los  Derechos Humanos, para ellos poder iniciar investigaciones concretas y así poder  dar recomendaciones al estado para que se dé respuesta a las denuncias. Redacción ARS
