Tegucigalpa, Honduras. www.loschuñas.com El Director General de la Policía Nacional, Comisionado de Policía Héctor Gustavo Sánchez Velásquez, informó sobre los avances en la investigación para esclarecer la muerte violenta del padre José Enrique Vásquez Cálix, por la que ya se tienen personas detenidas preventivamente.
El Director policial indicó que agentes de la Dirección Policial de Investigaciones (DPI), en coordinación con el Ministerio Público, ejecutaron la captura de dos personas, a quienes se les supone participaron en el asesinato del sacerdote.
Las detenciones fueron ejecutadas en los municipios de Santa Rita y El Progreso, Yoro, luego que el Fiscal del Ministerio Público que conoce de la causa las ordenara, basándose en las diligencias investigativas y pruebas científicas que vinculan a los sospechosos con el crimen.
Desde que trascendió el fallecimiento violento del clérigo, la Policía Nacional, a través de la DPI, conformó equipos de trabajo para colaborar con el Ministerio Público, para generar las líneas de investigación y realizar diligencias que permitan esclarecer el caso.
El comisionado Sánchez Velásquez reveló que unas de las líneas de investigación hacen suponer que el robo sería el móvil que motivo el crimen del Padre “Quique”, como se le conocía popularmente, ocurrido el pasado 3 de marzo, en un sector del municipio de Morazán, Yoro.
“La detención de los primeros implicados en el crimen del padre José Enrique Vásquez, es solo un paso en las investigaciones, las que continuarán hasta identificar a otros posibles responsables de este hecho criminal”, indicó.
El jerarca policial agradeció la colaboración y apoyo que reciben de la Agencia Técnica de Investigación Criminal (ATIC), la que asiste y trabaja el expediente junto a la DPI, bajo la coordinación de la Fiscalía Especial de Delitos Contra la Vida (FEDCV).
