Honduras. www.loschuñas.com. La Comisión Permanente de Contingencias COPECO, determinó bajar a alerta amarilla los cuatro departamentos que se mantenían en alerta roja a partir de este mediodía, del miércoles 7 de octubre debido que el huracán Delta ha bajado de intensidad.
Varios departamentos que se mantenían en alerta roja pasan a alerta amarilla por 48 horas, los cuales son: Francisco Morazán, La Paz, Choluteca y Valle. Además, se dispuso mantener en este mismo nivel de alerta amarilla al departamento de El Paraíso por el mismo periodo de tiempo.
Los departamentos de Cortés, Santa Bárbara, Comayagua, Yoro, Copán, Lempira, Ocotepeque, Intibucá y Olancho, se encuentran en alerta verde. El Centro Nacional de Estudios Atmosféricos, Oceánicos y Sísmicos CENAOS de COPECO, informó que el huracán Delta ha perdido circulación y disminuyó la intensidad en sus vientos, degradándose a Huracán categoría 2 en la escala Saffir Simpson.
hoy miércoles y hasta el viernes, la influencia de este ciclón forzará un acercamiento de la Zona Intertropical de Convergencia en el Golfo de Fonseca, por lo que se pronostican lluvias y chubascos de moderados a fuertes, acompañados de actividad eléctrica especialmente en las zonas: Oriental, Central, Sur y Occidental del país.
