Comayagua. Comayagua. El Ministerio Público (MP), a través de la Fiscalía de Comayagua, logró una sentencia condenatoria de más de 20 años de cárcel en contra de tres asaltantes, quienes rentaron un vehículo para cometer varios robos en distintos sectores de la ciudad colonial.
En este caso se emitió un fallo condenatorio 10 años y un mes de cárcel en contra de Ever Armando Villatoro Flores y Santos Valentín Castro Torres por robo agravado continuado en perjuicio de testigos protegidos y de 12 años y siete meses de reclusión en contra de Darwin Antonio Flores Carbajal, sentenciado por robo agravado continuado y porte ilegal de arma de fuego.
Según los hechos que demostró la Fiscalía, el 10 de septiembre de 2018, los tres sujetos se desplazaban a bordo de un vehículo turismo color azul, el cual había sido rentado el mismo día por Darwin Antonio Flores Carbajal en un punto de la ciudad de Comayagua.
Durante varias horas se reportaron una serie de asaltos con el mismo modo de operar, donde las víctimas reportaron que de un turismo azul dos sujetos armados se bajaban intimidándolos y los despojaron de sus pertenencias, mientras otro quedaba esperando con el motor del vehículo encendido para emprender la huida.
Al recibir las denuncias de seis testigos protegidos, la Policía Nacional emprendió la búsqueda de los sospechosos, logrando capturarlos, por lo que los puso a disposición del Ministerio Público, ente que siguió el caso hasta lograr el fallo condenatorio, por lo que al terminar el juicio oral y público fueron remitidos al centro penal de Comayagua donde deberán cumplir la pena impuesta por los hechos cometidos.
