Las tres familias del barrio El Junquillo Santa Bárbara fueron salvadas por la decisión y compromiso de José Alemán, quien todavía era bombero voluntario e integraba un equipo de rescate que ayudaba a los afectados por las lluvias de la depresión tropical Eta.
Los reconocimientos públicos de la sociedad en general no se hicieron esperar para alemán y sus compañeros Bomberos ya que son un equipo de trabajo, pero ayer martes 10 de noviembre recibió una llamada que le cambió la vida, Juan Orlando presidente de Honduras lo quería ver.
Alemán recibió la llamada del presidente Juan Orlando Hernández, el pasado martes para felicitarlo y manifestarle que quería conocerle en persona, además de darle la noticia que ya tenia su plaza.
Desde la ciudad de Santa Bárbara, departamento Santa Bárbara, alemán fue llevado a petición del mandatario hacia San Pedro Sula. En horas del mediodía se dio el esperado encuentro en la pista del Aeropuerto Internacional Ramón Villeda Morales.
